Review: The Girl On The Train
CONCLUSION Like "Gone Girl," but on a train. A swift but engaging read.
The Girl on the Train is Paula Hawkin’s first mystery novel. It centers around Rachel, a depressed alcoholic who rides the train to and from work every morning. From that train she glimpses into the lives of a seemingly normal husband and wife who live by the station. One morning after a drunken black out, Rachel discovers that the wife is missing and dives into her own investigation.
